We don’t find it all that surprising, that News of the World Bingo has closed its virtual doors as an independent bingo site and merged with Sun Bingo for any future business. They are all part of the same newspaper group who publish The Times, and Sunday Times also. We never really gave NOTW Bingo that much notice and Sun Bingo got all the attention. All the promotions and the sites were also basically both the same!
The newspaper has also been prominently in the press recently, regarding allegations that reporters have been hacking illicitly into the voice mail of certain high profile people. But besides these allegations, or perhaps as a result of them, the newspaper printed its last issue as at Sunday the 10th of July. So, it ceased to exist together with its bingo site. As far as players accounts are concerned, these have all been moved to Sun Bingo – players’ money – if they have any in their accounts, will of course be as safe as houses.
For those of you who have visited New of the World Bingo and are account holders, there is a notice posted which tells us that players may login to Sun with their NOTW account details, and withdraw all their funds if they so please!
