What a wonderful way to kick-start June? Tons of UK online bingo sites have their summer specials on offer, and the Bullet Business Annual Online Bingo Summit started this month from the 1st – 2nd June in London. This year – the 6th year of its existence, hundred of international delegates converged to find out what’s going on in the online bingo industry. As bingo business is so big in the UK, it is apt to host the event in London, and this has been done every year since inception.
One of the biggest highlights of this summit is the Annual Awards ceremony. This gives us a better idea of what the best sites in the land are, as well as what is driving trends. To date, I cannot see too many results, but am pretty sure they will all be in the news soon enough.
Some of the highlights of the summit included web design, customer feedback, tips on player retention, marketing and branding, player management strategies, expanding into Europe, promotions and incentives amongst others, and guest speakers topped the charts with; Nicky Senyard from Income Access, Dominic Mansour from GTECH G2, Sarah Bateson from Paddy Power Bingo, Rhys Owens, Head of Bingo – Virtue Fusion.
One thing is for certain, and we did not need the annual summit to tell us this. Online bingo continues its meteoric rise and there is no sign of bottoming out yet. There are still many new sites coming online all the time and attempting to edge their way into what has proven to be a very aggressive marketplace. What we can also tell you is that Wink Bingo walked away with the top award and they were truly 100% deserving of this.
