If you fancy getting an eyeful of James Bond in a dress, check out Daniel Craig at the 888 Ladies Bingo blog, you will find out what he looks like dressed as a female. This is actually not an amusing video – nothing as simple as a man dressed in drag like Vic Reeves, but we much admit, he makes a pretty hot chick – stockings n’all! This short film is up at the blog in support of International Women’s Day of which the 100th anniversary is being observed. The narration is by Dame Judy Dench and she has certainly come a long way so has the character Moneypenny; “M” is now James Bond’s boss. I wonder how Ian Flemming would have felt about that little addition to changing times?
Apparently that is not the only thing that has changed in terms of equality of the sexes and 100 years ago in 1911 when Austria, Denmark, Germany and Switzerland were observing this day; women in the UK did not even have the vote. Now I wonder what “M” would have to say? She certainly says it all in the film. Nevertheless, 888 Ladies Bingo is raising awareness too and lot of other high profile people have been involved in the making and screening of the film. The bingo site even hosted a special game for International Women’s Day.
If giving big prize money to female bingo winners can be considered to be empowerment then the site is doing this too. They gave away a super prize in the Golden Game on Sunday when “Tobycat” won £52,000 and a day later on the 7th March “xxALIxx” won £45593.39, let hope both these big winners do something with the money to improve the quality of their lives.
